BUILD good career habits

You have been in your career now for a few years. You’ve got a good idea for what you wish to accomplish over the next 4-5 years. Maybe you’d love that next promotion that makes you a people manager. Or maybe, you want nothing to do with managing people, and would rather grow to become that subject matter expert. Or maybe, just maybe, you really don’t know what you want, and everything seems like a great option.

You want to be well regarded by the people around you. You want to be the person that everyone looks up to. But where do you begin?

And more importantly, HOW do you get there?

STEP BY STEP. FEROCIOUSLY!

Process

Comprehensive ProfileXT Self-Survey: Administer and interpret the ProfileXT Self-Survey to gain deep insights into the client's thinking styles, behavioral traits, and primary interests/motivations. Provide detailed feedback on how these factors interplay and influence their career decisions.

  1. Personality Type Exploration: Introduce and explain the DISC and Myers-Briggs personality type frameworks. Guide the client through assessments to identify their dominant personality type(s). Discuss how their personality traits can align with or pose challenges in various career paths.

  2. Success Definition: Engage in in-depth discussions with the client to uncover their personal definition of career success. Explore their values, aspirations, and desired lifestyle. Help them visualize what a fulfilling and successful career looks like for them.

  3. Personalized Career Trajectory: Based on the insights gathered from assessments and discussions, collaborate with the client to develop a tailored career trajectory. This includes identifying potential career paths, setting short-term and long-term goals, and outlining the necessary steps to achieve them.

  4. Goal Setting and Action Plan: Translate the identified career trajectory into actionable goals and outcomes. Assist the client in creating a detailed action plan with specific tasks, timelines, and measurable results. Provide ongoing support and accountability to ensure they stay on track and achieve their career objectives.
